It links to the theme of sustainability down to it’s fundamental themes and gameplay, based on Google Dictionary’s definition of sustainability “the ability to be maintained at a certain rate or level”, the game requires the player to make a balancing act to maintain and sustain high award values while avoiding the extremes of both sides. We also attempted to make ludonarrative harmony with both its gameplay and visuals, and having to manage something that could potentially kill you if you're not careful can create a lot of stress and anxiety. We decided that a horror theme would be best to accompany the gameplay since horror games are designed to make the player feel alert, and encourage them to manage systems in order to survive and succeed in their goals.
